COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease) is caused by 2019-nCoV (SARS-CoV-2) which is mainly transmitted through respiratory droplets.
Symptoms of COVID-19 may appear 2-14 days after exposure. For confirmed COVID-19 cases, reported illness have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death.

According to World Health Organisation (WHO) recommendations, rapid antigen tests can be used to diagnose COVID-19 infection when an RT-PCR test is unavailable or before RT-PCR test to detect suspicious cases.
This COVID-19 test detects certain proteins in the virus. Using a nasal, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab to get a fluid sample, antigen tests can produce results in minutes. A positive antigen test result is considered accurate when instructions are carefully followed, but there’s an increased chance of false-negative results — meaning it’s possible to be infected with the virus but have a negative result. Depending on the situation, the doctor may recommend a PCR test to confirm a negative antigen test result.
